Muscle Relaxant Injections

Also known as wrinkle reducing injections’. Mostly, these are used for treatments on the upper half of the face; forehead lines, frown lines and crows feet. A smaller number of patients benefit from these treatments to help down turned mouth corners, ‘turkey neck’ and lines around the mouth. These treatments relax the muscles which lie just below certain areas of skin. When these muscles are used frequently, the overlying skin becomes creased. By temporary and reversible relaxation of these muscles, the lines soften and in many cases disappear leading to a fresh youthful look. Treatments last in the region of three months. 

Fat Dissolving Injections with Aqualyx

Excess fat in stubborn areas can be a problem despite a healthy diet and a good exercise regime. Fat dissolving injections can reduce fatty build ups in notoriously difficult areas such as the chin, thigh, arms and stomach. A specially formulated compound is injected into the problem area where it attaches to fatty deposits, breaking them down over time. The fat is then naturally dissolved by the body and flushed out. The treatment is not invasive and can be performed by anyone however you are safest if it is performed by a medically trained professional.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are small injections of gel typically made up of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar found in skin tissue, that fill in wrinkles and add volume to soft tissue. They fill lines and wrinkles and add volume to areas such as your lips or cheeks. Dermal fillers do not need prescribing and the procedure itself can be carried out by anyone however you are safest if it is carried out by a medically trained professional.
